Galicia

I chose the city Galicia, in Spain. It is situated in the south of Cantábrico’ Sea and the north of Portugal, there is the Atlantic Ocean at the west. And some other Spanish provinces at the east. The most visited places in Galicia are:
‘La Coruña’, is a town surrounded by the sea, and that is why it has more than 2 kilometers of beautiful beaches that the population and the tourists can enjoy.
Another town with beaches is Lugo which is also a port town because of the intensive fishing activity in the area. So it has more than beaches, it has attractions for the entire year… That includes, jewelry, water sports, and there are even forests with native trees species, from the time of the Celtics.
There is also de the capital, which is ‘Santiago de Compostela’. This town is mostly known for its cathedral, so we can say that the principal attraction in this town, are the buildings… Which where build centuries ago, most of them were built between the twelfth and eighteenth century.
Finally, another important town is ‘Vigo’, the most important town port in the whole world. It is also the most populated town in its province ‘Pontevedra’. It is a town with many museums such as ‘The sea museum of Galicia’ and the only zoo in Galicia ‘A Madroa’.
The official languages are the Spanish and the Galician, which is recognized as a different language. It is also characteristic the food, which many kinds of sea food and other meats mainly. There also produced many kinds of cheese and wines of premium quality.
In fact, I have family in Galicia, they have large wine cellars there. They are linked with Vinigalicia’, which is now an International association. I have never been there to visit them, but I may go some year… There is much more to say about Galicia, but I rather go and see it by myself.

Hello i'm in Oporto in Portugal, i gona to move mi house there. I'm arrive last week, but i know my new home yesterday. Some day i go to visit Uruguay
Oporto is the second most important city of Portugal and it have a poppulation arround 2 millions peopple. It's an oldest city, with a big history.
Oporto has a big airport an the most bigest metro of Portugal and a big and beautiful port. It has a lot of cultural and touristics centers like La Torre de los Ciegos, or the Serralves's fundation the most visited museum of Portugal, and Oporto has the better wine of Portugal (Vinho do Porto).
The poppulation of Oporto in general is nice and pretty, i like it. The peopple is happy there because is a quiet and safe city.

About my life is very quiet i'm travel every weekend to the museum or i went to seen the match, the Porto Football Club is from there and i go to seen the uruguayan players like Fucile, Alvaro Pereira or Cristian Rodrigues. My faurite museum is La Casa da Musica is one of the most visited museum of there. Unfortunately Oporto haven't a beach but it have a lot of pubs and discos and i'm making a lot of new friends, i have some relatives there, because mi family is from there.
I'm not go to a highschool, i miss Uruguay, my friends and my family but i'm fine.
About the sports, Oporto has a lot of football teams like the Académico Futebol Clube, Boavista Futebol Clube, Clube Fluvial Portuense, Clube Infante de Sagres, Futebol Clube do Porto, Racing Clube de Portugal, Ramaldense Futebol Clube, Sporting Clube da Cruz, Sport Comércio e Salgueiros, Sport Progresso club. It has great football teams, maybe i can play in some of there.
Oporto has a lot of beautiful landscape to seen, with rivers, ports, bridges, and have a beautiful nightlife.

I like Oporto, it has everything, pubs football teams, museums, nice peopple, maybe is not the capital city, but is a good place to live like Uruguay.
